At PET we have a yearly award, called the “Ron Neal Enterprise award”. It is named after a Coventry man, Ron Neal who built 3 manufacturing firms in Coventry from scratch without funding or backing, through total commitment and hard work. It is a big trophy and it comes with a £50.00 prize. The idea behind the award is to recognise a young person every year who has shown outstanding hard work and commitment to developing their talents.

Now in its fourth year, it is awarded to Gopesh Sharma and Gurmukh Sahota from Coventry’s President Kennedy School, not just for their talent but for their focus and determination to develop it. They are very deserving winners and have the sort of characteristics, namely determination, team work and focus, which will help them succeed in our competitive, exciting and often difficult world of work. They will soon be presented with the engraved trophy which their school will keep for the year.
