The Business Enterprise course was originally produced on behalf of the Coventry Education Business Partnership. It was produced in response to the failings of the long serving work experience program and the growing need to inspire and motivate young people.
The course has had a fantastic reception from LEAs, schools, pupils and business organisations.
The course meets all the issues raised by the Howard Davies report and fulfils the requirements of the Enterprise Entitlement.
Both The Princes Trust and The Business Link fully support the program and have recommended it be rolled out nationally.
The methodology and content of the courses including the workshop activities have proven very successful with all groups of young people including disengaged youths. Input, feedback and attendance have been excellent. The students in your area will find the course, the materials, the methodology and the whole learning experience motivating and enjoyable.
Some of the key features and benefits are;
- Courses meet all issues raised in the Howard Davies report
- Programs will fulfil all your schools business enterprise requirements
- This is a pro-active approach which adds new dimensions to your and the schools activities
- Clear reporting structure to the schools and your office
- A ‘hassle free’ solution guaranteeing good results
- High Quality solution which is still cost effective
- Flexible Approach to delivery tailored to each school.
PET is currently delivering the Business Enterprise Courses for schools and LEAs and writing additional courses to add to the Business Enterprise suite.
If you, as an LEA, school, training organisation or employer need a tailored or niche curriculum course produced or an existing course re-engineered to create a new dynamic, PET will be pleased to discuss working together.
